The birthday girl!! Saturday was Zoes 5th birthday party!! It really is amazing how time flies!! This year was a tangled themed birthday party!! Zach and I were lucky enough to have the house to ourselves for a couple of days. Zoe and Hannah went to my in-laws and Zach and I were able to prepare for the big party!! We suprised the girls with a new play set!!

Zoe got some really great and fun gifts, she was so happy to see all the decorations and gifts waiting for her and she arrived with grandma and grandpa

Here is the cake that Zach made!! What a fantastic job!! All Zoe wanted was a tower, so Zach wipped this beauty up!!

This was her hardest descision.....cupcake or cake...

There are so many things I have been thinking about blogging: " What to do about my 4 1/2 year old" , "How I dream in dance" which I do...I really really do, weddings, last days of preschool and FIRST days of kindergarden, dreams and goals for my family, and life....OH LiFE!! But for now these pictures will have to do....

And soon I will get back and blog about how wonderful my grandma is and how lucky my kids are too have multiple great grandparents! How blessed I am that my third little girl sleeps better than the last two, which I think at this point is well deserved after the other two! And how life has obsticles but there always seems to be a light, (sometimes dim) at the end of the tunnel!

But since I have missed all these oppurtunites to blog all my thoughts I decided to just add some pictures for know of my beautiful family!

so many things have happened in the last month that I just cant wait to share- now if I just had a few minutes!!
next week Zach will be back to work after our wonderful two weeks of taking care of baby Colbi! I cant wait to share all of the exciting things that have happened this month and I promise I will get to it soon...come back and visit in a week or so and there will be lots to look at!

Well one of my good friends has all these amazing ideas, so I decided to try one out!! Im hosting a meet the baby Easter party on Easter Sunday for all the family who havent met the new baby!! Its alot Easter and a little baby...but one of the things I accomplished was this great banner! I am so proud, it turned out pretty cute and was super easy!! They have this amazingly free machine at craft warehouse that cuts out letters for you, you just pre-buy the paper. These are my letters

And here is my banner- I did glue the letters to the cut out rectangles which I might not do again, but it was a learning process and I cant wait to make one for every event!! Another thing I have up my sleeve are some cupcake paper banners!! Im really excited to try this one out and once I get it done I will post pictures!! Cutiest thing ever, just pick some great paper cupcake liners at what 1.99 a pack and string on a thin string!! I am so excited and cant wait to share!! Happy Crafting

Of course all of my pictures are out of order, but, here is the last month in a quick show of pictures! This weekend we had the pleasure of my nephews company- along with the inlaws!! Zach raced in the Badger Mountain Challenge. A 15K trek up and over and down the Badger Mountain!! He did amazing and we had the family here cheering him on. For some reason they started the challengers off in waves but didnt reset the clock, so I dont believe there was an accurate time for anyone!! Luckily Zach had his watch on!

Here we are waiting in the freeeezzzzing weather for the race to start! Last week Zoe had rainbow day at school

And of course St. Patricks day, we made rainbow cupcakes and had green milk

And last but never least, thanks to my bestie for throwing an amazing baby gathering!! Didnt call it a shower because the point wasnt for gifts but was to celebrate the new baby coming!! We had everyone bring an appetizer and we played a couple games and visited!! It was wonderful

What a busy and exciting month!! The countdown is on!! My induction date is set for the 13th of April...but I am dialated to a 2......on that note this might be the last post before we have another beautiful baby girl on our hands!

I am so proud of myself! I set out to ACCOMPLISH something and was rewarded well with my finished project.
I usually dont gloat about my finished products but I was so proud! I think its okay once in a while to tell everyone you know about your accomplishment, it could be running your first race, finishing (or starting) that pile of laundry that has been on your floor for days, cleaning out the pantry, sewing your first blanket, or taking a dance class. Whatever is on your list of things to accomplish I think they are all worthy of a little gloating once in a while!!
Now a few of these projects listed above are on my list to accomplish but the one I am sharing today is my first TUTU. My friends little girl will turn 4 on Easter and I thought I would set my sights high and make a tutu. I am so happy with the outcome that I will definently be making more!
STEP 1: pick the colors, 2 yards of each-hot pink, white, purple and green

STEP 2: take your elastic and sew together (after measuring the waste of course)

STEP 3: cut material into 4-6 inch long strips

STEP 4: cut in various lengths and tie to the elastic

STEP 5: have your beautiful daughter try on the tutu and model!

THE FINISHED PROJECT!!

now you may not understand the shirt but our friends The Andersons love the Beatles. So this shirt happen to be the inspiration for the colors of the TUTU!

I am starting to worry a bit....
As you all know Miss Hannah was a whopping 8.5 pounds! This time around I was certain that I was due for another oversized baby. Apparently as you keep having these little creations they get bigger and bigger! Here I am swearing up and down that I am carrying a 25 pounder, I need to be enduced soon because she is going to get stuck, and I can gaurentee there are different body parts circulating my entire middle half all at the same time causing me to look like an alien-
Well, what do you know.....I was wrong.
I went in for an ultra sound last week and it turns out this little peanut is in the 20th percentile. She's a little small.
"WHAT?"
I dont believe it.

As most of you know I am a planner, I need to know whats happening, when its happening, how it might happen etc. etc. Its something I dont love about myself but it is a pretty hard thing to change....going with the flow..are you kidding me!!

So here I am planning the delivery of number 3, ( Miss Colbi Rae), the day it might happen due to the fact I will be enduced since I was with the last two and considering the size of Hannah, who will be here, when I can get off of work, and preparing how things will happen as well as can be prepared.
Then I get the news that she is a little tiny, what that tells me is FULL TERM.
Ive never gone full term, never had my water break without the drs. help, always being at the hospital in the gown ready to go, its never been unexpected, Ive never been unprepared, Ive never not KNOWN.
I know women do it everyday, but Im not another women.
I am a planner who needs to know.
Maybe Im worried because its a new venture that Ive never been through, maybe Im scared because on one of the weeks thats around my due date my husband will be a little too far away for comfort, maybe I need to know who is going to take my kids at 3 am when I wake up and Im soaked.......maybe Im just worried.
I have a lot to think about, or maybe not think about.
I know I have plenty of people right around me who are ready and willing to come over any time day or night to help with the little beauty queens who are very excited to meet their little sister! At some point I suppose I need to go with the flow... but that seems like a lot to ask from someone who has always planned what nature had intended to be unexpected!

I thought I should share at least one picture of the ever growing belly! I think these last few days it has finally popped, I had four people at work ask if I was preggo and they see me everytime I work! Here are the girlies heading off to preschool

We were playing the playroom the other day and dad was trying the old, Ill use my hands as your hands trick!! I just wish that I couldve gotten this smile out of Zoe without Zachs hands because too me this is a gorgeous picture!! It really captures her happy side!

And the girl who will never pose, you get the shot or you dont! She does not take after her sister who will pose when she hears the word camera. Hannah is all or nothing!

I dont have any pictures today or really anything exciting to talk about! What I am doing is sitting here (on the toilet) in the bathroom while the girls play in the tub, listening to Zoes playlist on my IPOD..currently "the jungle book song" and enjoying the relaxation of no fighting and bickering!
I just started to realize that as nice as it is to just sit and enjoy them it will be different in a couple months, Ill have a little one who needs a whole lot more attention!
I cant wait to see how the girls interact and step up as the big sisters, taking in everybit of "big sister-ness" by helping and loving and participating in all that will happen when we recieve this new little life in the household!
I also have to say how excited I am to have Zach by my side. He is an amazing dad and husband and has really been stepping up these past few months as Mr. Dad. Lately work has been extremely exhausting and Im a complete couch potato by 1000am on Sat. morning! I leave my to do list on the counter and by Sunday it seems to be crossed off, and NOT by yours truly. Im not sure if its baby number three, or the lifting and bending at work but for some reason my body aches in places I didnt know I had, and Im so tired I feel as if sleeping is just a word and not an action!
My husband is AMAZING, Im so thankful for him and all he does, working, fatherhood, husband duties, and most importantly the MOM duties he has taken on and allowed me to skip out on!
Things are great, he is great, my kids are great and beautiful!

Another sucesful valentines day gone and over. We were lucky enough to keep Zach home for the day and enjoy every second! We ended the day with our traditional heart shaped pizza, I encluded the pictures from the past of our tradition only missing the very first (I think)!

Ive been thinking about this post for a couple days, thinking about how great a little black and white picture would be of my view laying down looking at my toes....
needless to say I havent taken a picture, but I can tell you the view, well it isnt there!
Ive reached the point of not being able to see my cute little toes, probably a good thing because they havent been painted in a while!
I supppose its the one thing you either look forward to in a pregnancy or dont look forward too!
I can see them when I stand and lean forward a bit but beyond that Im not really sure what the heck is holding up the top half of my body (probably my feet!)
Anyway, I pulled out my maternity pants today, they fit, a little snug but they will do.
Im preparing myself for a long 10 weeks or so ahead of me.

I sure havent blogged in forever, probably because I am really irritated with this new template system. I cant seem to get my main picture to shrink in size so it doesnt take up the entire computer screen!
If anyone has any suggestions I am sure open!

Its only Wednesday and I woke up to the bean bag filled with itty bitty balls ripped open and coming out of the laundry room door. Thanks to our lovely new pup (not so new anymore) Miley who seems to think that nothing is sacred. Weve lost gloves, blankets, seatbelts, helmet clips, barbie shoes, bean bags, golf shoe laces, shirts, boxes, pieces of paper..etc...etc...etc....you name it Im sure we have seen it in poop!

Needless to say Zoe also wanted to go to school in her favorite outfit of all time her swimsuit, without asking she dressed herself in her clothes with her tankini swimsuit on top of them! I am not one to argue when it comes to picking out clothes so above I have added a not so great picture from my ipod for you all to enjoy and a couple other updated!

And better yet my little tomboy Hannah has decided to become full little girl and only wants to wear dresses. Screaming matches and all she gets her way and is wearing a dress today that she has worn the last three days, its time for this mama to embrace her and go buy some dresses.

I am sure to keep up this blog once again with all the excitement that is to follow in the next few months..but for now Ill sign off!

Hannah turned 2 on Monday-
she is growing so much and is turning into quit the beauty!
I know she will be the brute of the family, but she is so pretty!
I feel like she is catching on so well, words, actions etc.
We love this little girl!
She is my little beauty and cant imagine life without her!
It was two years ago that she was born.
It was one of the hardest times of our lives, first she didnt breath for a 72 seconds, she was to big to come out and her collar bone was broken during delivery.
On her three day check up we found out that she wasnt eating, her BMI was a 19- normal is like a 2-5.....
after like a week of every 2 hour bottle feedings, being attached to an in home florecent light, and pricks in her foot this beauty charged through it and is almost surpassing her 4 year old sister.
She is a champ....

Wow, what an amazing journey-
Zoe turned 4 years old today, I think this has been the best birthday so far.
She really understood this year that is was a celebration of her.
We spent the weekend celebrating with family, got some amazing pictures but of course my camera wasnt working, so those will come later.
These pictures are of today:)
We started last night off with throwing a bunch of balloons in Zoes room while she was sleeping, hung streamers from her door and around her door!
We got up and Zach went and got balloons, donuts (of course) chocolate milk, and flowers for our little princess.
It was a wonderful day, Zoe and I got our toes painted, we had costco hot dogs for lunch and Red Robin for dinner.
I am so in love with this littel girl, though she has her moments of true PRINCESS PRIDE she is mine, I love her, I love who she is, I love her tantrums (not really ) I love her smiles, silly faces, random thoughts and so much more.
My little beauty queen has filled the last years of my life with more Joy than I couldve ever asked for.
Heres to you my princess, I love you with every bone in my body!

I am so proud of my husband today.
He competed in his first sprint tri-
1/2 mile swim, 12 mile bike and 3 mile run.
His time was 1 hour 30 minutes and 38 seconds

We made t-shirts for the girls to show our support!

First leg of the race was swimming, I have never been so proud, so nervous, so emotional.

My biggest fear was not seeing my husband come out of that water, he was in within the first 50. As soon as he came out I had some tears, very emotional!

Second leg was biking, it was part road part dirt, problem with the dirt portion was there was no passing!!
Still did great

Third part was the run!

Here he is finishing, amazing!

This was an amazing experience and Im glad that I was there to route him on, I am so proud and cant wait for the next one to come around!

Well weve started the summer off with some great things.
I started back to work and Zachs cousin is currently coming down three days a week to take care of the girls. WOW, wish she was available forever. The girls are sooooo happpy, they nap for a great nap when I am home and she is so helpful!
We also got a new dog. I wont admit that she is mine because I was against her.
Here she is MILEY. She is great with the girls, although still has those baby teeth, she has really taken to Hannah as well as Hannah to her!

We also started swimming lessons for Zoe. The first day was awful, she had a pouty face the entire time and even a melt down during lessons.

Day two and three went great, we skipped today due to the weather but will be back tomorrow.

Here are only a few of my favorite photos....
It didnt let me load them all so there will be another post soon...
Thursday morning the family took off for what turned out to be a 1500 mile drive!!
It was amazing.
Our first stop was Crater Lake, what we didnt realize was that due to snow the park was still closed.
We continued on to Medford for the night and started our journey again the next day reaching California.
We stayed in a little house with a kitchen, three beds, fireplace, huge yard with bad-mitten and a hot tub.
We then traveled downt he Avenue of the Giants and enjoyed some breathtaking trees....

The little park also had a gondola ride.

It was included in the price and was once again, wonderful!
Zoe loved it, which shocked me.

She wanted to ride it again and again, the view was great and we couldnt have asked for better weather.

These are the cathederal trees-

amazing, they grow in a group side by side.

They have ones that are so big and weddings take place there.

In the trees of mystery they had all sourts of animals carved from a tree, this was cute and I told Zoe to pretend like she was picking its nose!!

we managed to eat lunch in our car everyday, so here is a shot of the girls enjoying lunch!

We also stopped at a couple of beaches, this one was way out of site and took us forever to get too, it was windy but gorgeous.

After our long journey to that beach we ran into a little victorian town and enjoyed some chocolate ice cream.

We also hit the sea lion caves..it was great, the girls had a blast and the smell was like no other:)

Last stop was the Zoo. As we were heading there it was raining like crazy, I was hoping that the animals would be out.

Just our luck it stopped raining and we were able to see all of the animals playing, including the new lion they have, WOW.

Hannahs favorite were the bears.

The end of the day and the girls went to pick out their souviner.

Zoe chose a stuffed deer. We saw soooo many on the side of the road. Hannah chose an elephant.

We had an amazing journey and enjoyed every minute of it!!!

Zoe had her first preschool performance Tuesday night!
It was great, she had a great time!!

So went to a birthday party the other day..it was a princess dress up party!

Saturday when I got off work we decided to take a little drive- okay almost 7 hours later (there and back) we managed to do a few things we have never done before (as a family!)
First stop was..well the quicky mart for a yummy pizza pocket...but okay first stop was up The Tuchanon.
Our neigbors always camp here so we decided to check it out. we brought our fishing poles, some pb and j and enjoyed a nice sunny day!

Heres the lake, but I already forgot what it was called!

Zach caught to fish. Hannah was so excited and even touched it- YUK...Zoe on the other hand was grossed out and almost started crying (note her face below)...SHE IS FOR SURE MY DAUGHTER

Second stop was the waterfalls (Palouse), this was suppose to be a picture of us and the falls but for some reason my camera has a tendency to only want to take pictures of my FACE!!!

We had a wonderful time...even stopped at Starbuck.....no not that starbucks....but the city STARBUCK!!!!

What a fun family filled weekend!
We headed to Wenatchee after I got off work on Sat. and went straight to see The Smiths!
We visited with everyone and then headed to my Grandma Dees for what was suppose to be a big family dinner.

It ended up just being my mom gram and us but we had a great time.

My Grandma still has mine and my moms old barbies so Zoe was in heaven...its amazing how I remembered some of those AWESOME outfits!!

Sunday we headed to Zachs Grandmas house for brunch and egg hunting!

The girls got some bubbles and I thought this was a great shot of Aunt Sarah trying to figure it out...no kidding..but for some reason her and Justin couldnt get the bubbles to blow!

And then Hannah made a bubble without even using the wand!!!

it doesnt take long to decide how much you love your child. The minute you become a mom your entire world changes.
My girls are the love of my life, everyday they suprise me, irritate me, make me giggle and smile and fill my heart.
I am in love with these 2 precious beings in a way that I couldnt of ever imagined.
Hannah fell flat on her face the other day and it was really her first major (okay second major) ouch and I started sobbing.
I hate seeing these girls in pain.
They are growing day by day, each in their own seperate way. They are two different personalities and its crazy to think they are siblings.
They sure love eachother though and I am so excited to see their sisterhood grow and bond and create something Ive never had.
I love my girls, they are beautiful, wonderful, exciting and special!

We did, what a busy day...woke up late got to preschool and made it to the gym (three days in a row THANK YOU)
we have been busy around here too....making blankets for friends and my new addiction sticking these cute little decalls on onzies....

we also made some great rainbow cupcakes to celebrate the irish day...

Do you ever feel like youve done something wrong but you dont know what.

I do that all the time, I read into things, the way people act a certain day, or when they dont respond back, or just say hello instead of a 30 minute conversation.

I am so weird, I read into everything and I always over react and get my feelings hurt.

What the heck.

I dont know if that is wearing your heart on your sleeve or just being an idiot, today IM going to have to go with being an idiot.

My resolution this year was to not read into things, enjoy life and friends, take them as they are, everyone is busy, Im busy (not really) and just know that everyone has a bad day or week or minute.

They dont respond back: they are busy
They dont take the extra time to chat: they will catch next time

I need to get over this feeling, I dont need to be reasured...that must come from a confidence issue-

SO last night we were reading Jack and the Beanstock...we get to the part of:

For the ones who dont know that is what I usually order at Starbucks!
Zach and I could not stop laughing, is it sad that she knows my coffee so well it is now part of our reading sessions!!!

Its amazing how time is flying by. We just got the paper for preschool registration, today we are going to check out a different preschool.
That means we are getting ready for PRE-K, that means Zoe is almost 4, that means that Zoe is almost 5 and in kindergarden!!
Okay maybe Im jumping the gun by a year and 1/2 but its amazing that time is just zooming by. I cant imagine these two little ones growing up.

Hannah is a ball of fire, wanting to do everything Zoe does, she loves taking "Zoze to schoo" and everything else her sister does! I think she will do great herself in preschool next year! She is so different than Zoe and loves to be around anyone she can, a very curious fearless little girl!

Well where do I start-
It has been a long week, jam packed with a graduation/ birthday suprise party, leaving the kids with Grandma for longer than we ever have before, a vacation to Hawaii and I guess thats it.

Dave and Barb (the neighbors) suprised Zach Saturday morning with 30 balloons and a great sign on our fence for all the world to see!

We headed to Wenatchee Saturday for the BIG SUPRISE fpr Zach, I think there was a total of 30 some people there to celebrate 30 great years and Zach graduating AGAIN.

Then off to Seattle for a night and on to Hawaii!!!

It was a great trip, we missed the girls soooo much, it was heartbraking everytime we saw the little kids running around the beach. Our hotel was amazing and if we ever go back to Oahu I would stay there again.

There was live music everynight, it was a crosswalk away from the beach and practically next door to Starbucks:)

We hiked more miles than I ever have before, we layed on the beach, we experienced new things together and made memories we wont forget.

This was a well deserved vacation and we experienced everything we could!!

I cant believe we have practically known eachother for 15 years, weve been together for 11 years and married almost 7. Its been a wonderful journey and I cant wait to spend and celebrate many more years and birthdays with him.

He also just graduated from college again. I couldnt be more proud. He has done alot for himself and this family and we are so thankful!

BUNKO

So I have to say that BUNKO has been a great thing in my life. If you dont know BUNKO is a dice game played by 12. We win money or a prize, once a year you host and provide the food, house and prize!! Last night was our December BUNKO at Jeannettes and it was great. For the first year in, what, maybe 5 years we did a Christmas exchange. 20 bucks secret Santa. It was soooo much fun. Im suprised at the creativity that came out of our group, you know who the creative ones are but you never see it at work. I got a great Starbucks cup and coffee and am so pleased because now I am in with the crowd. It was a really great time and I am so thankful to have this group of friends that I can truly call friends.
At first we were all new friends, just meeting eachother once a month and getting to know eachother as the years have passed. I think last night was truly a bonding night and it felt good to finally say TRUE FRIENDS-
That may sound wierd but Ive mostly considered these girls just "BUNKO GIRLS" and am close with a few, hang out with some more often and talk to one in particuar every day. But I think as the years have passed we have all grown together and its been great.
There are the sweet ones, the hip ones, the mom type, the so funny you almost pee your pants type, the truthful one, the crafty ones etc. it is a great group, a fantastic group.
Im glad to be a part of it-

okay so I am so proud of myself! I went to a jammy making party and I actually sewed something- Just for proff here is Zoe holding the fabric before, and then wearing the pants after!

We went to the park yesterday, I think it was 30 degrees but everyone did a great job!

Well since we dont have a fireplace I have to get creative every year, I had skis last year (thanks pottery barn) but the tv is in the wrong place to do those, so here is my creativity at work this year!

oh and of course on Friday Zach came home with some flowers for me, how wonderful is my husband!

New Years Resolution

Okay, I know its a bit early, but Ive really been thinking about this for awhile and thought I would buckle down and make it my resolution for this year.
Ive decided to be better about judging people. We all do it, to ourselves, our friends, our family neighbors, strangers and enemies (especially). Ive been doing it a lot lately. Only a few people know the way I feel about certain things, but some things eat away at me and I feel really stupid and bad for feeling this way. I want to stop being jealous of little things, like that coat my friend got that I wanted, or money situations, or trips or objects or etc. etc. Its amazing how we get to this point in our lives when all we do is judge and hate and whine and gossip.

I look at my two beautiful loving daughters who have no judgement, no hating, no gossiping, no evil. They could care less if their mom is fat, thin, tall, wears glasses or pink sweatpants every day, has bad breath or wears make up. They dont care, they love you any way shape or form.

I want that, I want to stop obsessing about objects and focus on how important people and feelings are. That is the key word "feelings". I love all my friends, for their smiles, their shoulders, their faults. Everyone is different, that makes them who they are.

I want to stop hating and start apprecciating and being happy for them, just like I want them to be happy for me when I get a great new sweater or my husband does something wonderful.

I think Im probably rambling, but basically I want to just be happy, and feel blessed that I am having a wonderful life right now, things are great and I hope my friends and family are great too. Im glad that friends and family can feel happy about certain things and I want to participate in that happiness.

Im going to stop judging and stop being jeoulous of stupid things, I want to just be HAPPY.

so we got Zoe a new snowsuit, and for some reason I got a great picture from both of them!! Zoe was cinderella for Halloween!

Hannah, the octopus- suprised that she fit into the thing because it was size 6-12 months and she is currently pushing a 18-24~

We also went to disney on Ice on Sunday- what a great experience, Zoe is finally old enough to enjoy things like this, and yes I had a couple of tears pop out from the excitement on her face- She was worried about Simbas dad, because he actually died.....but everything else was great! In fact I just purchased our tickets to The Nutcracker, which I had a tradition with my mom and grandma when I was little!! I cant wait to start this tradition with the girls!!

wow we sure have been busy, I dont feel like I have blogged in months!
We had the Ammermans over a little whilea go to paint pumpkins. The kids are sooo cute and had a great time. Here is my and my long time amigos from highshcool-

Oh yes and for my birthday my friend Erin took me to artsy fartsy. A place you go to paint pottery. You pick a piece then paint. This time a chose a door nob and but had the idea to make it a cork for wine- pretty cute I think and Im itching to make some for Christmas!

And today was glitter pinecones day-

not sure if this was one of my better ideas. Pinecones, glitter, and my three year old- mmm you will see we opted for paint after the first one- though I finished three of them with different colors and I think they look great!

mmm, I am looking forward to a wonderful weekend with my husband- the girls are off to grandmas and I am excited to enjoy a weekend free of The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, being free of the shower door opening as Im taking a shower, sleeping in, eating my dinner peacefully, free of carseats and strollers, and an extra 25 pounds attached to my hip!!!!
As much as I live for my children and love my children, I love my hubby too and cant wait to spend the weekend with him at a lodge with a hot tub, no tv, a fireplace and hopefully a little snow!

And Monday I raked and got a huge pile of leaves for the girls... and when I say HUGE I mean HUGE!

Last but not least, Zach has been building a shed. I get a text Sat. morning while Im at work "hurt my thumb, no worries, still working!" MMMMM, I call him to make sure things are okay and he says YES. I get home and we peal off the bandage and I decide we should head to the dr. Well the immediate care is a 3 hour way so we head to the ER. He gets his thumb looked at, he gets his thumb cleaned out with a syringe and about 5 gallons of saline water, he soaks his thumb, we go to XRAY and sure enough (see the photo below) he broke it. He decided to send his drill bit through his nail bed/slash finger and luckily his thumb pad is pretty strong because it didnt go all the way through the finger. After our 2 1/2 hour ordeal at the ER, mind you he did this at 830 that morning and we were just leaving the ER around 230 and still no drugs...we head to walmart for his perscription (an hour wait)!! We head to home depot, then back to walmart and home! WOW- luckily the girls were at my parents house for the weekend!

Needless to say, trying to plan to accomplish something-like building a shed, finishing or shall I say starting Hannahs baby book, downloading pictures or even say dinner out, doesnt really work out when you play with power tools!!!

Zachs finger hurts really, really bad, we have about 10 pillows in bed with us to keep his hand elevated, and well he usually gets up about 515 or so for work and this morning he got up at 440...poor guy!!

Great weekend together though!!

hopefully he makes a full recovery and and the shed will get down before the first snow fall, I offered but he wont let me build it (Id probably do it wrong, or crooked or GIRLY!!)

okay, so I never am one to watch "The biggest loser" I always start the show but never finish. I wasnt planning on watching it last night either, but my husband had it on and when I came out from feeding Hannah he had tears in his eyes.

What I said, just wait.

Okay, so they go around their little circle of why they are here, and sure enough: "my name is Abby and last year (or whatever) my 2 and 1/2 week old (yes week old) baby boy and my daughter, 5 I think, and my husband were in a car accident and they all died."

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, tears streaming down my face becuase of course do you not only have to listen to this heart renching story but they show the dang pictures of the kids. This beautiful red headed little girl, holding a tiny bundle....which the mother only got to know for two weeks. The first two weeks, the hardest part of being a mother, no sleeping, feeding every two hours, trying to read the signs of your baby etc. etc. and I bet the husband being a great man was just taking the kids out of the house for an hour or so, so mom could get a little nap.
And then come to find out you have no more moments, you wont get to see the true colors of your babies eyes, the color of his hair, his first word, rolling over, crawling, walking, talking and the first kiss and hug and squeeze of your finger (shall I say it again) AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. I hate this show, just like I hate Extreme Home Makeovers.

I just thought since my heart was torn out last night I would at least get it off my chest and share this with you, this amazing women who actually had the will everyday to get out of bed after losing her entire world.

Just think about it today, and when you are irritated that your daughter doesnt want to wear what she picked out last night for preschool today, or your other daughter wont sleep, or you battle about whats for lunch, or chocolate milk, or spilled milk, or color crayons etc. remember Abby and just realize how fast your world could dissapear.

Tell everyone you know you love them today!! Tell them I love them too!!!

So we did it, we made it through our first babysitter, "TAPE" as Zoe calls her or Tate as her known name is. Hannah cried for about 15 minutes she said and then things went great. All Zoe did after she left was ask for "TAPE" to come over and play!!! Great, thats the reassurance a mom needs in this situation!!! Well off for another busy day, to the mall and a girls night tonight. Comedy night at Jokers, maybe a little dancing and maybe a little girl talk! A much needed date after three weeks of a routineless life! Good luck to dad while Im gone due to Hannahs lack of sleeping nights!

Where to begin...
It has been a busy busy summer, we just got back from the Ocean, Noskowin (I think) about 10 miles from Lincoln city. We went with my mom and Grandma and step dad. We got this great beach house right on the beach, there was a golf course a little bike path and little store. It was pretty good weather, we had a fire place and that just made it for me. I realized that living by the sea is just right for me, I could live in my uggs and a great cozy sweater, sit by the fire place with all the doors and windows open, drinking hot chocolate and listening to the waves....what a life. We left at about 50 degrees and came home to about 90- what a difference. With that cool weather Ive been itching for fall, I think I even saw some reddish orange leaves on our travels, even more itches for my boots to come out and my great sweaters- out with the shorts and give me my good old jeans!
We had a great time but are so glad to be home, I have been gone with the girls from home for about three weeks, to Wenatchee and the Ocean so many travels but wow how being gone has caused alot of bumbs in our schedules and routines. Hannah is not sleeping AT ALL- getting up in the middle of night, not going down at the right bedtime and waking up at 600 and no later. Zoe on the other hand is finally sleeping in her big girl bed with no troubles: THANK GOODNESS. Life is pretty great right now and Im enjoying and taking it all in before the preschool season starts and we are off to more routines.
I just signed on a babysitter, yep a real babysitter, not Beth not Rachel or Amy or Melanie or whoever else Ive forgotten. Thanks to Melanie Ive finally got a number and made the call. First time is tomorrow so we will see.
We are starting to embark on some new adventures I guess and I cant wait to see how the rest of the year goes, as for now Im just trying to look forward to a new year with my husband, 6 years on August 30th!
Heres to new beginnings and a great new season, filled with lots of laughter and love and happiness and red leaves, and pumpkins and apple pie ( Ive decided Im going to try and make one this year) and to smiles and smiles and more smiles.........

I wasnt sure where to start so I think I went by latest event then back!! It has been a long month, good bad, interesting, a learning experience, and so much more.
Let me just start off with these couple of pictures. Miss Hannah decided chalk was not for writing but for eating, I can teach my kids how to draw and color till Im blue in the face, but for some reason with this one things always are better in the mouth!

And here is the other child, who decided to pack up her school bag and go and dig in her garden, it out of all the other flowers we have is exploding and doing so well, her grape vines are climbing and she has had mulitply strawberries.

Zach suprised us on Thursday by coming up to Wenatchee, we took the girls to the river and enjoyed a little wind!

Okay, here are some shots of Hannahs bday. The big 1. We had lots of family and friends come and the weather was much nicer and more pleasent than i had thought. Zoes 1 year bday was like 1,000 degrees, this time it was enjoyable!

Okay, so here is a short version of the chain of events of the past two weeks. The girls and I headed to Wenatchee, the week of my birthday. We met up with a gal who took some family photos of us. We went swimming at Beths moms and enjoyed some girltime. Mary also did a great princess photo shoot down at the river with tons of little girls, lots of sugar and some little perosauls (sp). Anyway, the next week after Hannahs bday party we headed back up to Wenatchee so I could work at my friends coffee shop- THANKS JENNI!! I forgot how much I miss it all, the smell, the people, the "having to be somewhere at a certain time" etc. It was fab and I cant wait to do it again, I dont know if she will let me considering out of my three shifts I had to leave early on my closing duty due to the stomach flu. OH YES, Hannah had it Tuesday
so after dealing with that Zoe and I got it Thursday night, WOW not fun. Im not sure what is worse, throwing up, your little girl throwing up or holding her and having to put her down so you can mee the porcaline gods again?

Anyway, long week but so glad to be home. The girls had lots of one on one time with grandmas, aunts, uncles, zachs cousins and so much more. We are preparing to head to the ocean this week with my family and cant wait to get there, we leave Wed. and are totally ready!

Well I took an un expected trip to Cali. this last weekend and had a great time!! We shopped went on a tour of little Italy in SF and shopped and ate some more!! Here are a couple of pics just to prove I was there!! Here Cassie and I are at a resturaunt with her boyfriend and neighbors, I think the waiter kind of thought we were cute because everyone else in the place was over 50!!

Here is part of our little Italy tour, yes I am in a coat due to the freezing temperatures! I left Pasco at a wopping 90 something degrees, only to end up in like 60 something degree weather!

And while I was away Zach took the girls too sunlands for a family friends wedding....

Also they baked an ariel cake

and a little snooping in the closet!!

Last but not least Hannah is standing pretty well on her own!! Maybe she will be walking before her 1st bday!

so at first I was going to blog about how my child "Zoe" woke up at 200am wanting to come into bed with us, add going to the bathroom, wanting water and daddy, and still wanting to come to bed we battled this until 400am where I just crawled in bed with her_

okay so my pictures are still coming up as letters and numbers etc. so since i have no idea what order this stuff is in Ill do my best. Zoe in her new bed. We ordered the bed June 4th and it just arrived Tuesday, Zach got it put together and it was "soooo cool"
Beth got her tinkerbell lanterns and they hang on her bed and we turn them on every night!!
Also the tank loving the babydoll and laying her head on the pillow- her favorite thing to do and oh so cute!

okay so for some reason my post pictures are coming up as words instead of pictures so I cant tell you what they are-
first off I started my pictures with the final product so if you start at the bottom pictures you will see the bundle of cotton candy I had made for goodie bags-
Phil (grandpa) got donuts and chocolate milk to start of Zoes big day- from then on they are pretty self explanitory except for the last ones, Zachs sister and Zoe...well and Zach were having races on the slip and slides- too fun!
All and all the day went off without aany fault, oh yes you will also see my mother in laws hard work at cutting out the pinapple (at my request) on shapes of fish aka flounder and the watermelon as starfish!!
Anyway, Zoe turned the big 3 and she is in the 25th percentile (finally)!!
Well off to start another week, hopefully tomorrow will be a bit more calming than today!

I think I love to congratulate myself!! I did get to wash the house today, though it was still windy and a bit chilly this morning at about 745! Just got the little one down and was able to take a shower I then cleaned the bathroom!!! An eventful day to the semi-start of the week!! We are counting down the days until Miss Zoe turns 3 and preparing for a houseful of family!!
Zach made me a fresh pot of coffee this morning since yesterday I just couldnt figure out why there was only 1/2 a cup left for me- turns out he didnt make any yesterday and it was the leftovers from Sat. mmmmmmmmmm
Anyway, more things to get done but sure hope this wind stops- oh wait just looked outside and its going to be a gorgous day with no wind,mmmmm shouldve waited to wash the house!!
