ODE TO NAPTIME

Its 12:30 and time for a nap
you fuss and fight and fall asleep in my lap

you want a bottle and your sister tv
I fetch your bottle and get you settled so sweet

your sister picks a christmas movie and falls asleep in my bed
so I change the channel and watch my soap thats been haunting my head

2:00 rolls around and my soap is done
my stomach is growling and thats no fun

I hit the computer to window shop
check my email and my blog and now its 3 o clock

still not awake and Im getting pretty bored
now Im shopping for things I cant afford

still hungry I might add as I sit here and wait
but dont want to cook anything to disturb this peaceful day

oh 315 and your sister starts to stir
Im ready to eat lunch, this hunger I cant ignore

I hear a little noise coming from your room
I guess quiet time is over and OH YES daddy will be home soon!!!

Hannah Rolling Over

Okay so many things have happened since I last blogged this is a long one!!
Lets start off with painting, below you will see the first color in our kitchen......didnt love it but have lived with it for four years:)
Ive been thinking SPRING and thought a brighter color would help out- so here we go!

Here is Zoe helping daddy out, so excited to paint on the walls!

Final product!! I think it looks good, though Id love to get rid of the plants and do something cool up there, but they are Zachs and I dont have room anywhere else for those green things!

And here I want a new print, I may make something or do some great shots of the girls!! Just not sure yet!

Okay, Valentines Day, here are some shots of the cutties!

And last but not least, Zach let me get my walking shoes for the big race in September. Beth suprised me with a bandana (mmm I think thats spelled wrong) anyway, and I got some new walking pants!! Now all I need is some sunshine (like today) and Im off. Im so excited to get started on training regiment and get walking!

It will be hard work but Im looking forward to getting out of the house and actually having a goal!

Happy Valentines Day at Preschool!
SO we had a late night last night!! We babysat Miss Clara and after that it was chaos! Zoe did not go to sleep until 1100 pm last night- in and out of our bed, back and forth. Finally I went to go feed Hannah at say 10:30 and Zoe had turned on her light and was playing!
Absolutely not-
So I was not looking forward to preschool today or what was to come after a long morning!
But she was up in good spirits and excited to head to preschool to share her Valentines!

Okay so after reading my A game (ha thats funny) anyway, I was dissapointed in my answers and found out that using the dictionary is cheating so I decided to start again and go for the letter B. Who knows I may be on a role and do the entire alphabet!

1. The Booger Ball- Whoever invented this thing is genious! Though I wouldnt dare use it on myself, I am obssesed with getting Hannahs nose clean, clean, clean and was the same with Zoe.
2. Belly Laughs- I cried when Zoe did it- it was amazing and I got a great picture. I wasnt there for Hannahs:(
3. Blogging- Its a pretty fun way to just let it all out!
4. Butterfly kisses-so tender and so fun
5. Birthdays-I was raised to belive that this was the most important day...I cant wait for Zoes this year because I plan on decorating her room early in the moring and when she wakes up she will see that the Birthday Fairy came!
6. Blankets-Im always cold....I have one gross looking dark green 200 pound blanket from an old friend named Chad. It was a wedding present and he got it in Korea. I dont leave home without it!
7. Busting a move-I can move to any song, I will rock out to any song! Ill teach ya some moves if you want!
8. Boots- DUH my UGGS of course! You didnt think I would leave those out! I truly dont go anywhere without these babies!
9. Beth- BETHIE is my BESTIE (need I say more)
10. Bruizer- as much as he stinks he is my puppy, Zach got him for my birthday one year and he has been mine ever since! Apparently he is really mine when he does something wrong!

11. The little Black dress-I have one favorite from J Crew. It fits me to the T, I feel great in it, look great in it and love it!

12. BLISS

THE GAME

My friend got a letter from a gal who started a game. The letter Beth gave me was A!!! Basically you have to write 10 things that you love starting with the letter you were given....if any of you are interested in a letter Ill sign ya up for one....Here goes!

1. Alivia- Zoes middle name, I think I came up with it and it was pretty clever
2. Anything beginning with the word UGG
3. Abercrombie and Fitch -(though I really cant fit into thier clothes anymore!)
4. A baby- (cause thats what Hannah is and I love her)
5. Answers- because without them we would know nothing!
6. Alphabet-because I love hearing Zoe sing it "ABCD wont you sing with me!"
7. Ankle-cause without it I couldnt walk
8. Ants in the pants....because without that saying my daughter wont keep her undies on!
9. Amy P-she is a great friend
10. Andersons- (last but never least) because without them I wouldnt have this silly and very hard, had to get the dictionary out for this one game, a great friend, a babysitter, a music guru, and a walking partner!

Kids say the darndest things!

Okay so you know how when you read a magazine you lick your fingers to turn the page? Well I do and Zoe has caught on.
We were sitting in the playroom and she was reading a book. She would turn the page with her left hand and say "oops", then lick her finger on the right hand and flip the page....too funny. Everytime same thing, turn with the left, "oops", lick and turn with the right!

Next, I had a bandaide on my thumb.
I accidently hit my thumb when I was tying her shoe.
"ouch" I said
"what mommy"
"my finger"
"NO your thumb!!"

STARTING THE WEEK OVER

Okay so yesterday was all about me so I thought I would throw in some pics of the kids and make it all about them today!
The other night Zoe finally let me braid her hair! I was feeding Hannah and made Zach take some pictures!

Next up, a family picture! I was trying to get a good one for the breast cancer walk web page but I think it needs to be after Ive had some coffee and make-up!

And, Zoe was putting Zachs hat on Miss Hannah....too cute!

Can you believe she turned 6 months yesterday WOW!

Anyway, off to start the week over! We will hit the mall with Beth and maybe go for a walk today, the sun is shining and I think everyone woke up on the right side of the bed this morning!

MY BRAIN IS ON OVERLOAD

where the heck do I start....DO you ever start the day off with such excitement and then one thing ruins it?
Thats what happened today, I was so happy thinking "its Monday and its a great day" then my feelings got hurt and well things have backfired ever since!
Then I just got another donation for our team and Im not too excited, Im sure I will be later when I can get over my un happiness.
On a completely different note-
Do you ever think about an old friend that you miss? I do alot, I had a certain friend who I think about all the time. Things were great, I think we disagreed to some extent but talked on the phone all the time and just connected. Well we arent friends anymore..some things happened, I think I hurt her and well she really hurt my feelings- alot. Although I think about her and wonder how she is, the kids, whats new etc. I cant allow myself to make that next step and invite her back in. I just cant.
I see her once in awhile and cant even pretend to be nice, I sure try but I feel so upset. And after I see her I always wish that things didnt turn out the way they did. Its so easy to say "forgive and forget"but I just cant get myself to do it.
Ya know, she may not even feel the same way about me, or even care or wonder, But I do.
Anyway, off to check my email!

GO TEAM

Okay so today is morning and Im so excited, I just got a donation! A donation for what you ask!! Well my friend Beth and I are taking on the challenge of walking 60 miles each for the 3 day breast cancer walk in September, we also have to raise 2300 bucks too!! It will be great. We are so excited and cant stop "living pink" right now!! ITs all we are talking about and thinkinig about!
Anyway, off to start off on a good foot this morning...

SHOUT OUT

This is a shout out to my dear friend Miss Rachel Ammerman, I know she doesnt have a blog nor will she ever read this, but today she took the time out of her busy busy schedule to listen to me vent. Yesterday was a pretty tough day and sometimes you just need to let it all out! Her heart was open, her ears were listening and her mouth just replied!
It felt good to get it off my chest for just a moment!

So I think today was one of the hardest days of my life.....to date!! Not quite but lets pretend! I had to chose between two preschools for Zoe, Bethel or Faith. She is going to Bethel this year and has a great teacher, but that same teacher will be teaching a different class next year and Im pretty much in the hopes that my friend Miss Amy P will be co-teaching Zoes class. I surely shouldnt put all my eggs in one basket expecting that Miss Amy P will be her teacher...but come on, someone has to have my best interest in mind RIGHT?
But Ive heard great things about Faith as well, but the down fall is it is in Pasco (not so convienent for me) and thats about all.
AAAAAAAAA, " Its only preschool" you say- I KNOW, but it seems like its the rest of her life. I mean, whats next, private school or reg. cheerleading or hockey, boys (NO BOYS!) marriage, babies etc. etc.
I know Im getting carried away.
I hope I made the right dec. I really do, or that 70 dollar non refundable registration fee was all for nothing!
