WOW
first things first, congrats to all the 2009 graduates! Im not sure what you were doing this weekend but we put a total of 500 miles on the ol honda. Sat at soon as I got off work we headed to Wenatchee for mine and Zachs cousins graduation. Luckily both our families live there so we were able to hit both parties! WE got home about 730 and headed to the neighbors for thier sons graduation party!
Woke up the next morning and headed to Cave B in Quincy for my in-laws 30th anniversary!
Long weekend for sure but here is our celebration, none of the gradutes and (parties) because I forgot my dang camera!
This shot is the girls at the park and Hannahs first swing! My gift to the inlaws, another name sign down!!!

toilet paper anyone?
so, today I went to use the bathroom and realized I HAD NO TP...so needless to say:
" Zoe run to your bathroom and get me a roll of toilet paper"
"what"
"toilet paper, under your sink by your rags"
"where"
in your bathroom- run"
I wait and then I hear little feet heading my way, yes TP!
No roll of tp in my 3 year olds hand....mmmmm
"where is the roll"
as she opens her hand out coils a small and crinkled PIECE of TP, yes I said piece of tp.
OKAY, as I tried to contain my laughter, I explained again that I needed the roll of tp-
"where"
"in your bathroom (barely holding my giggles)"
"mom, I cant"
"yes you can, please, run"
gives me the eye and takes off once again to her bathroom-
and finally comes in with- you guessed it - A ROLL OF TP!!!
wow, my three year old is a great listener!!

When it rains.....it pores:)
So here I am visiting the great town of wenatchee- great friends good family and two children! A two year old and a 6 week old. Never have I traveled this far ( 2 1/2 hours) by myself with them and the trip there- fantastic!! Well on the way home I was stopped by a road crew blowing up rocks- 20 minute delay- okay, so we wait the twenty minutes. We pass the flagger and of course it has been 2 hours since I fed the newborn so its time to eat she screams- we make it to the rest stop and POW its closed, so we pull over! Then in the middle of feeding my two year old yells POTTY MOMMY, POTTY MOMMY- great- I say. So I give her the option to go outside- NO WAY so I say " lets put on your sisters diaper and just this one time you can go in a diaper" NO WAY aaaaaaaaaaaa- what do I do...well, there is a fruit stand up the road! So we hop in the car, get to the fruit stand and I plead my case- YES they say, you can use the toilet!!!
okay, I think we are good to go...but of course we get behind three truckers!!!
So long story short our 2 1/2 hour trip ends up taking us almost four and we make it home to a loving husband and father and a batch of peanut butter cookies from the neighbor!
I guess there is always a rainbow at the end of a rainstorm- HUH?
