So went to a birthday party the other day..it was a princess dress up party! of course the picture I took of both girls didnt turn out, but when we got home Hannah decided to help daddy in the garden this is for miss Logan Hakensen!!
Our latest project:
paint some rocks
and put them in the new garden
And last, I was hanging some pictures that I had taken down, apparently my "eye balling" technique led me to a larger hole in the middle than planned. So I imrovised and used one of Zoes paintings!
Saturday when I got off work we decided to take a little drive- okay almost 7 hours later (there and back) we managed to do a few things we have never done before (as a family!) First stop was..well the quicky mart for a yummy pizza pocket...but okay first stop was up The Tuchanon. Our neigbors always camp here so we decided to check it out. we brought our fishing poles, some pb and j and enjoyed a nice sunny day!
Heres the lake, but I already forgot what it was called!
Zach caught to fish. Hannah was so excited and even touched it- YUK...Zoe on the other hand was grossed out and almost started crying (note her face below)...SHE IS FOR SURE MY DAUGHTER
Second stop was the waterfalls (Palouse), this was suppose to be a picture of us and the falls but for some reason my camera has a tendency to only want to take pictures of my FACE!!!
We had a wonderful time...even stopped at Starbuck.....no not that starbucks....but the city STARBUCK!!!!
What a fun family filled weekend! We headed to Wenatchee after I got off work on Sat. and went straight to see The Smiths! We visited with everyone and then headed to my Grandma Dees for what was suppose to be a big family dinner.
It ended up just being my mom gram and us but we had a great time.
My Grandma still has mine and my moms old barbies so Zoe was in heaven...its amazing how I remembered some of those AWESOME outfits!!
Sunday we headed to Zachs Grandmas house for brunch and egg hunting!
The girls got some bubbles and I thought this was a great shot of Aunt Sarah trying to figure it out...no kidding..but for some reason her and Justin couldnt get the bubbles to blow!
And then Hannah made a bubble without even using the wand!!!
So here I am visiting the great town of wenatchee- great friends good family and two children! A two year old and a 6 week old. Never have I traveled this far ( 2 1/2 hours) by myself with them and the trip there- fantastic!! Well on the way home I was stopped by a road crew blowing up rocks- 20 minute delay- okay, so we wait the twenty minutes. We pass the flagger and of course it has been 2 hours since I fed the newborn so its time to eat she screams- we make it to the rest stop and POW its closed, so we pull over! Then in the middle of feeding my two year old yells POTTY MOMMY, POTTY MOMMY- great- I say. So I give her the option to go outside- NO WAY so I say " lets put on your sisters diaper and just this one time you can go in a diaper" NO WAY aaaaaaaaaaaa- what do I do...well, there is a fruit stand up the road! So we hop in the car, get to the fruit stand and I plead my case- YES they say, you can use the toilet!!! okay, I think we are good to go...but of course we get behind three truckers!!! So long story short our 2 1/2 hour trip ends up taking us almost four and we make it home to a loving husband and father and a batch of peanut butter cookies from the neighbor! I guess there is always a rainbow at the end of a rainstorm- HUH?
