Happy Thanksgiving

okay, I caved, Im thankful one more time! As much as my husband says I say Im thankful too much Im going to say it one more time!
today I am thakful for my daughters and my husband and my sister in law and brother in law! Today is thanksgiving and we are off to visit with family...about 26 of them-
Today Justin (brother-in-law) went to starbucks and got us coffee, which was greatly needed! Sarah is whipping up yummy spinach artichoke dip and I was the official taster! My husband on the other hand is sitting over my shoulder and driving me crazy, as Sarah would say acting like a "JUSTIN" but thats okay- Im thankful for all of them and glad to spending the day with Zachs family! Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and and appreciatethe small stuff, I know I will!

Ill be gone for the holiday and probably wont write, so I figured Id wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving from the Meenachs!
Just remember to enjoy who your with this holiday and not fret about the small stuff- like dinner being at 400pm:)

OMG

Okay so here it is the yummy caramel monkey bread I bought to try with my friend Rachel- obviously I couldnt wait and took a little sample for myself! All I can say is that good thing Rachel is coming over or I would be eating this myself and it would be finished probably by 230 (by the way its 2:07)
My goal is to try something new anytime she comes and this is the first of new things (last time we had coffee cake!)

end of the tunnel

So I thought today I would once again say how thankful I am for everything. Zach came home with news that one of his co-workers has lupis (sp) she has been having problems and been in and out of drs. for awhile and they finally found the problem- this lady has been through so much. ON top of that her husband has to have triple bypass ( I think triple) the week after christmas, her daughter has heart problems and her son is going through a divorse- WHEN IT RAINS IT REALLY DOES PORE. I just think its awful. Zach told me the daughter asked her mom"why did this happen to our family?" and Zach told the mom "its becuase you guys just keep going and have such a great attitude!" I personally dont know very many people that could be so positive during a time like this.
This once again just makes me so thankful for a happy and healthy family and happy and healthy friends, here I was complaining on my very first blog of how my child wouldnt go potty on the side of the road and look at what this gal has to deal with.
My problems and complaints are so minimal to this and Im glad they are.
Im hoping this family can stay positive and get through all of this, at least they have eachother, and Im sure glad this gal feels open enough to talk to Zach-maybe he is good at cheering people up and he gives her a little hope at the end of that tunnel-

home sick

here is zoes first preschool picture! sooo cute and what a cheesy smile! since we werent able to go to school today because the entire house caught my cold her teacher brought the projects over for us to do at home! the first one was an indian hat....she had to take one of the feathers and write what she was thankful for!

next was a pilgrim hat!

here is her feather- i asked her if she was thankful for mommy or daddy, bruizer or her puppies and well you guessed it she is thankful for her puppies!

here is the picture of all the bunko gals, i ve been playing now for three years and we have had a couple people change but for the most part they have stayed the same! last night (like i said was favorites) and nichole had all of our fav. candy bars on our plates and had our favorite music playing and it was just wonderful!

im glad i am a part of this group- oh yes that is baby hannah under the hat! have a great tuesday, we are all trying to recover from this cold and of course zoe is getting worse- we may not make it to preschool this week:(

oh yes and i won some money- here we come STARBUCKS

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa soo cute!

so do you ever think youve got everything figured out- like how when mom gets sick everyone gets sick, but when everyone gets sick mom doesnt? interesting! mmmm
well we had a busy weekend, i missed a great party i know but my mom was in town! she made us homemade chicken soup yummy! we went shopping and visited and had a great lunch at arbys? well we went to wheat montana farms but you guessed it- its shut down:( oh well should know better, "nothing ever lasts in that little building" quote by beth anderson.....
my mom also made cookies but burnt them- yuk! i wanted my friend rachel to come over and enjoy some cookies but there is nothing enjoyable about burnt cookies!
but today i am thankful that it is monday and i can wear my jammies until i have to get dressed for bunko! its favorite night tonight and that means ill be wearing my uggs with pride and my fav jeans and probably a sweatshirt...most of my friends probably couldnt picture me in anything else!
ill have to take my camera tonight to get a picture of those girls so i can share! zoe will have swim lessons with zach and hannah will be with me..busy night but it will be a great monday!
so happy monday to all and dont forget that thanksgiving is next week! so enjoy this last week of non-holiday-ness (not a word i know but very creative i might say!)

today i am thankful for these people! my daughter is totally into dressing up- thanks beth!!! she is hilarious....although about 15 minutes after she is dressed her clothes come off we have least gotten to the point of putting dress up clothes on- i suppose that if she is at least covered and not just in her undies im okay with it!

im also thankful for these two...hannah is getting so big and zach is so great! what a wonderful family i have!!

now if i could just get over this rotten cold everything would be dandy!

growing up- sooo fast

so my child has been potty trained for awhile but she is so tiny she cant get up to the toilet etc.etc. so here i am chatting on the phone to my hubby and i see the bathroom light on- i go to see what my child is doing and sure enough pants are down and she used her stool hopped up on that potty and "poopy mommy poopy" alright sounds good to me- i tell her to call me to help her when she is done....its been a minute so i go check and her undies are up and shes heading out the bathroom door- Oh she is growing up so fast! what a great thing RIGHT!

Thankful-again

as i sit trying to decide what picture to post i realize my 3 month old- yes 3 months has fallen asleep on my shoulder! my two year old is watching cinderella and i am just finishing off my grande iced americano with cream and vanilla (and they forgot the extra ice) but delicous anyway coffee! ive been thinking about alot of things today-and lots of things im thankful for- like how my kids have great grandparents, not many kids do and its a wonderful gift! i had a few when i was a kid and my great gram trudie lived until i was 16..wow huh! i just love that my kids are able to enjoy thier great grandparents as well, not only at family functions but by visiting often!
im also thankful for my kids- yes my two year old is two and i have a few grey hairs do to it (dont tell) but i love her- she is getting so smart and its great to be able to just sit and enjoy her company and have a conversation! she is counting to 10 minus the number 6 and loves singing her abcs....we are working on colors because it seems to her that everything is the color blue- funny because she is a girl who wears lots of pink!
anyway, as this day doesnt come to an end because it is only mmmmm 300 and we still have swimming lessons and a dr. appt i just want to say thanks for such a great life- as much as i complain and have good and bad days it is a great life, good family and good friends!
im so blessed by all these things and take them for granted ALOT but i will try this thankful season and be more thankful and tell people!

when mommy is away.....

well it was a very busy weekend, i worked and came home to zoes room ripped apart by a tornado aka (zoe)!!! grandma jeanne came and brought the puppies again!

all and all glad that the weekend is over, we shopped till we dropped- literally!

urgh- so we have just recently become fans of survivor...and since i couldnt stay awake last night zach just informed of the news- THEY KICKED OF MY BOYFRIEND!!! oh he was so cute and winning all the challenges and they BLIND SIDED HIM- i dont think i can watch anymore...:(
on another note im thankful today that my hubby will be home early so i can relax a little today:)

THANKFUL

today i am thankful for my friend rachel who is bringing me a coffee around the breaking point in my day!
my daughter has been up since 5, is now taking a nap but wont take another one all day and just about the time swimming lessons are over she will go into meltdown mode and we will be wishing it was 800pm BEDTIME!!!!

Im only happy when it rains

I have to tell you that i am one of those people that loves the rain! i remember when i was at my friend beths house a billion years ago- like 10 maybe when it was raining so hard we went outside and danced in the rain! great memory!
i love the smell of rain the beauty of rain and i love my uggs and my sweaters in the rain!
i took this picture this morning of the rain falling from a leaf- not very good but it was great to be outside for 5 seconds and enjoy the rain!
today is a perfect day in the tri-cities for me!

happy belated halloween-

here is my cutest pumpkin and my little ladybug- bruizer was a spider...not a happy spider but a spider!

gram and grandpa meenach went tric-or-treating with zoe and the dogs and zach....not much candy due to the fact that our entire neighborhood was out tric-or-treating as well- thats okay I DONT NEED ALL THAT CANDY!

grandma and grandpa meenach got two new little puppies- ty and tinker bell (named by zoe) although she tried to pick them up by their heads we now realize they are pretty strong little buggers!

she played favorites to the little boy Ty who happens to be 1.1 pounds- she kept calling him her baby and cradling him in her arms!

anyway, busy busy weekend and now following in my friends Amys footsteps its time to start thinking about what we are all thankful for-

me: my two little girls and husband and family...pretty cliche but without them i wouldnt be a happy mom, wife, daughter or granddaughter!
