sooo long

first off I want to start by saying, Im really bumbed that I missed the comment give away over at mommy chronicles- dang!! But of all people Im glad my friend at Blogolicious was the one that won due to her insane week!!
We just made it back from long week of shopping and vacationing and are really glad to be home- I have so many pics I just picked a couple becuase I could go on and on about the things we discovered and did during our travels!!
First things first Zach put some blood, sweat and tears into a great play house for the girls, we got home and then ran to home depot for some plants for the garden!!
while we were in wenatchee we visited my girlfriend over at the Hakensen family and Lars helped Zoe try on some boots that were too small for Logan! Lo was so upset so to give them up but Jenni said she never even put them on!!! Zoe was excited to get them and I can only imagine the great outfits that will come with some awesome red light boots!! Thanks guys



we also went to the food park with Zachs family, it was a great day for it- Hannah wanted the funnel cake and ice cream and everything else we were eating- but NOT YET!!!

I also get to visit my best bud from Cali- Miss Cassie!! She was up visiting to we took the oppurtunity to treat ourselves to a pedi and dinner at the WOK which is one of our favs. Its funny though- the same people still work there.....I dont think Ive been there in at least 4 years!



It was a long and great trip, fell in love with a new store for the girls H&M, everything was like 5 bucks!! Got some new jeans for me YEAH and just had a good time with my mom!!
Glad to be back blogging and hope to change my back ground soon!

I am glad you had such a great time!!! and the Wok sound SOOOO good. Why didn't I think of going there? Mmmm, next time I am up there I am Wok-ing it!

When it rains.....it pores:)

So here I am visiting the great town of wenatchee- great friends good family and two children! A two year old and a 6 week old. Never have I traveled this far ( 2 1/2 hours) by myself with them and the trip there- fantastic!! Well on the way home I was stopped by a road crew blowing up rocks- 20 minute delay- okay, so we wait the twenty minutes. We pass the flagger and of course it has been 2 hours since I fed the newborn so its time to eat she screams- we make it to the rest stop and POW its closed, so we pull over! Then in the middle of feeding my two year old yells POTTY MOMMY, POTTY MOMMY- great- I say. So I give her the option to go outside- NO WAY so I say " lets put on your sisters diaper and just this one time you can go in a diaper" NO WAY aaaaaaaaaaaa- what do I do...well, there is a fruit stand up the road! So we hop in the car, get to the fruit stand and I plead my case- YES they say, you can use the toilet!!!
okay, I think we are good to go...but of course we get behind three truckers!!!
So long story short our 2 1/2 hour trip ends up taking us almost four and we make it home to a loving husband and father and a batch of peanut butter cookies from the neighbor!
I guess there is always a rainbow at the end of a rainstorm- HUH?
