A-Zebra

Have you been to see the Zebra and baby kangaroo?
Here is a picture of the gal holding the joey in her pouch, sorry its not too close but you get the idea. Here is the fam next to the baby zebra, Lulu! There is this great nursery out in Pasco that has these two baby bundles, its actually the place where one of the pumpkin patchs is (that sounds funny) anyway- some good plants too!

Okay, here is an update on our family of birds- this is Zoe using her binoculars!

Heres one little guy, we think there are two!

Its a pretty amazing site, the mom wont leave the nest until the dad gets there and pretty much vise versa!

What an amazing thing to be a part of!

Okay, I couldnt get the last like four pictures to download so I will have to do it later!
Last weekend we went to Oregon to hit the zoo- of course our first stop was Stonehenge! Here the kids are looking out our hotel window

since they dont have any lions we did a picture with the pretend lion- Zoe also picked out a "SIMBA" as her stuffed animal to bring home

and yes, if you look very closely you can see Zach and Zoe on the bridge!!

And last but not least we have a new member of the family and soon to be a few more. A nice little robin has made her nest on top of our outdoor speaker, she flew away and Zach was able to get a pic of whats inside the nest!

everybody poops....

OK Ive been out of the blogging scene for awhile and planned on staying a little longer. BUT this was a no brainer and just had to be told!! ENJOY (not for the faint of hearts!)

So Miss Hannah has pretty much had a hard time pooping since we started her on solids. Well the past few weeks it has seem to be a little more difficult and has only gotten worse. The last four days she hasnt been able to poop at all. She is straining with all of her little might, red faced and all but NOTHIN! Well Ive asked friends for suggestions and called the dr. too and all Ive come up with is a warm bath, some juice, the bicycle and lay her on her tummy. Nothing has worked.
Poor little girl.
Well, I thought maybe it was the food, so I tried the gerber brand and yesterday (after four days) she finally had a semi soft (suppose to be a little thicker than peanut butter and I think we were at almost hard clay)poop.
YEAH, I was excited, maybe it was the food.
Well last night as usual Zach is giving the girls their bath and Im finishing up after dinner and I hear this "JESS" and "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" which turned into crying. I walk in and Zach has Hannah out of the tub and Zoe is in the tub trying to get as far away from the poop that is floating- okay not floating, it had sunk but was slowing making its way toward her.
So I get Zoe out of the tub and get her in her towel....all along praising Hannah for finally pooping. I get Hannah out and Zach starts to bleach the tub....then the toys fall in and so we bleach them as well!!!
Everyone gets dried off and and into jammies and calms down....
HILARIOUS- but I guess all it took was a warm bath!!! TEHEHEE

Happy Mothers Day

sooo long

first off I want to start by saying, Im really bumbed that I missed the comment give away over at mommy chronicles- dang!! But of all people Im glad my friend at Blogolicious was the one that won due to her insane week!!
We just made it back from long week of shopping and vacationing and are really glad to be home- I have so many pics I just picked a couple becuase I could go on and on about the things we discovered and did during our travels!!
First things first Zach put some blood, sweat and tears into a great play house for the girls, we got home and then ran to home depot for some plants for the garden!!

while we were in wenatchee we visited my girlfriend over at the Hakensen family and Lars helped Zoe try on some boots that were too small for Logan! Lo was so upset so to give them up but Jenni said she never even put them on!!! Zoe was excited to get them and I can only imagine the great outfits that will come with some awesome red light boots!! Thanks guys

we also went to the food park with Zachs family, it was a great day for it- Hannah wanted the funnel cake and ice cream and everything else we were eating- but NOT YET!!!

I also get to visit my best bud from Cali- Miss Cassie!! She was up visiting to we took the oppurtunity to treat ourselves to a pedi and dinner at the WOK which is one of our favs. Its funny though- the same people still work there.....I dont think Ive been there in at least 4 years!

It was a long and great trip, fell in love with a new store for the girls H&M, everything was like 5 bucks!! Got some new jeans for me YEAH and just had a good time with my mom!!

Glad to be back blogging and hope to change my back ground soon!

My week is going to be full of some positive changes!
